This plant produces a diverse group of rosin esters and dispersions
When Hurricane Michael devastated the Florida Panhandle, the plant was badly damaged. Kraton called on SPG for help, as we have successfully worked in the plant before.
SPG quickly mobilized crews that were on site within a week, despite severe logistical problems with housing, electricity, etc.
SPG immediately ramped up to over 50 people on site including all major trades. Work continued through 2019
SPG hosted several large events for our crews and Kraton workers. On several occasions, SPG drove smokers and other cooking equipment to the site, and fed over 200 workers with pulled pork BBQ and Low Country Shrimp Boils.
